These girls are different in age but all want the same thing... to learn ballet. We welcome beginners of all ages. Kinder- Barre is for ages 3-5. Pre-ballet for ages 6-8. Level A for ages 8-12. Teen/Adult ballet for ages 13 and up. Right now we have a Teen/Adult beginner class on Mondays from 6:15-7:15pm. Rocking the pink on her first day of ballet!

Isabella has been studying ballet twice a week since 2018. She has beautiful Grand Battements. Grand Battements are not just leg kicks. When done correctly the leg goes up fast, with force and is controlled as it comes down and closes into 5th position.... All 3 of her positions show the typical arm positions. She has great control holding her torso and turnout. Well done Isabella. Like if you agree!

Found this Vaganova Academy Classical Dance Exam. Sharing because it shows the smooth use of the head, arms, and upper torso. Ballet is more than high lifted legs, multiple pirouettes and big leaps. There is a complete use of the whole body in the movements. At the Intermediate Level this is very important for smooth coordination and easier execution of complicated steps. We offer Intermediate classes Wednesdays 3:00 - 4:30, Thursdays 4:30 - 6:00 (Followed by Pointe 6:00 - ...7:00) and Saturdays 9:30am - 11:00am. Drop-In rate is $16.00. Frappes help strengthen the foot and ankle to train the feet to point quickly and strongly. When performed correctly they help with the quick precision needed in allegro combinations. I love making frappe combinations with different rhythmic accents to promote musicality. Ballet students interested in our Intermediate classes are invited to try a free class.
