We love to see this sedge out in wild! It is commonly called creeping sedge, because you guessed it, it creeps. It is tolerant of a variety of conditions, from sun to shade, loves the wet soils of our area and is semi-evergreen. Available at our nursery starting in April in DP50 plugs. Super excited to share our latest project with you all! This #hempcrete retrofit was done on The Studio at my good friends @free_range_yogi and Kind Earth Grow...ers place on Lonely Cottage Road. We installed the material over the last three days with an amazing crew consisting of Kind Earthers and close friends who decided to drop in like The Art of Plaster! This will be Erin's new yoga studio space and laundry utility area. They have chosen to retrofit and rebuild this space from the inside out as at one point it was a candidate for demolition. Erin and John recovered materials from around their property to complete this retrofit, #recycling what they could and bringing it all together for a stunning rehab of the space. I am very proud to say we achieved a balance of masculine and feminine energy in this install which, as my mentor @judywicks would say, is the key to all successful endeavors. John and Erins property is full of examples of this balance and how perfectly imperfect life should be. The walls will be finished with a local clay plaster installed in cooperation with Gabe Franklin of The Art of Plaster. The ceiling has been insulated with sheep's wool insulation and will be finished with nickle-gap cladding. #healthymaterial for the win! See more

Phacelia bipinnatifida (Fernleaf Phacelia) is available at the Nursery. This plant is perfect for dry-shade, is free seeding and blooms from April till mid May. We like it paired with Packera aurea.
