Today at the 9:30 a.m. Mass, we were able to honor the 8th grade students at Holy Trinity School - Morrisville, PA as the new faith leaders of the school. Students and their families were invited to Mass where the students received a personalized youth Bible, purchased by the Council, and blessed by Monsignor Eckert. The goal of the Knights of Columbus is to strengthen men and their families in the Catholic faith. Formation in our faith goes beyond mere facts or religious pr...actice to an authentic connection with a loving God and his son Jesus Christ. In living out our Faith in Action this morning, we turned to our new student faith leaders, the 8th Grade Class at Holy Trinity School, and presented them with Bibles that they may take with them on their journey here at Holy Trinity and beyond. The students were encouraged to keep this Bible, and the Lord, close to their hearts. Inside each Bible is a message to the students that reads: As a student faith leader in the Holy Trinity School Community, you are a representative of Jesus to everyone you encounter in your daily lives. May this Bible serve a constant reminder that you are called to imitate Jesus, who came to serve, not to be served. Know that you are in the prayers of the Knights of Columbus and that we ask you to pray for us. Vivat Jesus God Bless our new faith leaders!
