Greetings, Krua Thai Faithful Patrons! After 3 years straight without a vacation, the owner (Aree Ruttanapanya) has declared; "it's time for a vacation". The café will be closed from August 9th to August 23rd for a much-needed vacation. The café will be reopening on the 24th of August for regular business hours, moving forward.... We thank our patrons of the last 6 years (both old & new) for their business & we will return to serve you on the 24th. As ALWAYS, EnJOY!

Greetings. Krua Thai Café has endured (especially after 2020) & has provided as close to authentic as possible cuisine for nearly 6 years. Over these near 6 years, we have maintained a highly decent reputation as a Thai restaurant with the many patrons: occasional diners, passing through & regular patrons; we appreciate you ALL.... The business IS owned & operated by a Thai woman with years of cooking experience...NOT the staff working up front. Regarding the many customers that pass through OR maintain regular patronage, we strive for excellence & do our best to see you again. After 6 years & great food, great location, great "atmosphere", the owner has achieved her goal. We appreciate the return patrons and the "passers-by" who speak positively of the place often. We take critique as a suggestion & understand how to manage based on the owner's heritage, culture & SEVERAL business degrees. But for those expecting a "bad experience no matter what", entering & DEMANDING that "this establishment be EXACTLY like another" (often times another cuisine like Chinese/Japanese/Korean which is NOT Thai) which you frequent elsewhere in America, declaring some lofty claim of critique because of Yelp OR some media outlet with "your opinion" on it...finalizing with: "If this was my business I would make you..." "You Americans need to learn to cook authentic food from Thailand. I should know. I eat at *so&so* lots of times" (but have NEVER been to Thailand OR even OUT of your OWN country) "You have to add (insert some crazy "cultural idea" that has NOTHING to do with Thailand) & LASTLY "I want to have a sample of everything (for free) because I have to say whether it is this OR that": PLEASE... Critique is understood. Being obnoxious is RUDE. Repeatedly calling back after not getting something entirely opposite to your delusion & complaining OR outright slandering a decent business is APPALLINGLY RUDE. HOWEVER, Krua Thai truly appreciates our TRUE patrons.

Greetings, Krua Thai faithful! Presently, we are OUT of the Papaya (SomTum) Salad due to having difficulty finding good green papaya for the dish. That includes the Grilled Pork Special (which has a serving of SomTum with it).... PLEASE NOTE: Papaya (SomTum) Salad is NOT a "fruit salad" & does not contain "shredded cucumber" What a customer sees is GREEN Papaya. This dish is medium spicy by default & can be made in any degree of spicy...from NOT Spicy AT ALL to "melt your face" Thai Spicy. It can be made vegan as well. Just request it. We are trying to find GOOD green papaya so we can serve it once again.

Krua Thai Café STILL OPEN for CARRYOUT

Okay. To potential Krua Thai Café patrons throughout the remaining 2020 calendar year: We understand this dine-in mandate based off the recent covid regulations & dine-in is MANDATED a "no-go"...but THIS is our take as far as it is concerned: a mandate is NOT a law...& we are leaving it up to the patron to decide. We will NOT say solidly "yes OR no" based off a mandate & we know our business rights in the United States of America.... We have VERY limited seating. It's up to you. We WILL NOT fill seating beyond our set capacity AT ALL. We have carry-out options as always & WE DO NOT USE 3rd Party Delivery (the "dead horse"); so we appreciate every patron we have. If anyone is sick...please DO NOT stop in. It's only common sense decency from there. If anyone fears for their health, we will see you upon your next dine-in experience. Masks will be used by staff in the kitchen for ANY food prep/cooking. They will be used within a 6ft. distancing of any patrons doing carry-out OR dine-in...but NOT "from across the room at all times". Please enjoy your holidays as much as possible & to our patrons: Thankyou for your business.

The funniest description of spicy we've ever encountered: "I want it spicy, but NOT Thai spicy...but mild enough to be medium...but spicier than mild." ... We love some of the colorful descriptions we get (many are actually funny)...& the dish finally gets made at "default spice" for the dish...just to be "safe"

The owner/chef ( Aree ) has announced that the café will be closed Thurs the 24th & Friday the 25th of December 2020 in observance of The Christmas Holiday...so we at Krua Thai wish you a very Merry Christmas... We will reopen the 26th for regular business hours (stay tuned for possible changes) & remain open through New Year's Eve (Dec31st) & New Year's Day Jan1st 2021 as well. Merry Christmas

A heartfelt thankyou goes out to the Krua Thai Faithful over the 2020 calendar We were happy to welcome many new patrons & passing through patrons for carry-out/take-out throughout this year...& appreciate the many who have stayed with the café the last 5+yrs. REGARDING SEATING:... Dine-In seating is VERY limited, so we appreciate call-aheads & reservations (no walk-ins, please). The café staff will make reservations for patrons & take proper "precautions" (despite those who might be claiming otherwise...let's be reasonable here) for the sake of business. Any reservation past 20 minutes from allotted time will be disregarded (if calls are not made for changes) & any cancelled spot will be reserved for future use that day. Thankyou

Greetings Krua Thai Faithful! Temporarily, the café will not have the Thai Iced Coffee (due to slow sales, low demand & ingredient availability amid the 2020 business climate). Thai Iced Tea IS STILL AVAILABLE (& always will be because of its huge popularity) as well as any juices & drinks we have available (basically in the "a-la carte" availability) like guava, mango, pomegranate, coconut, lychee & kiwi...when in-stock.... Grab a refreshing Thai Iced Tea during the hot summer months! EnJOY!

We are happy to claim...after 5&1/2 years of business...that the menu has remained consistent & unchanging (with the exception of the extended menu, which has remained the same as well).
