Ok people ... This is the reality of walking your dog on hot asphalt ! And it was only 80 degrees out that day ... If you can't walk barefoot, NEITHER CAN YOUR DOG !!!

[Warning: The following videos may be hard to watch. I have been given consent from the owner to post these to social media.] These two cats came into the clini...c this afternoon after the owner used Sergeants Silver flea control for Cats 5lbs and over. It was purchased at Dollar General for around $5. The videos were taken right after the cats' third bath in an attempt to remove any remaining product from their skin. It had been on for 4-5 hours when they were brought in so much of the product was already absorbed. Please do not use this product! This is not the first time an animal has been poisoned by Sergeants flea control. Consumer Affairs has 706 instances and complaints filed against Sergeants. Please use caution when buying over the counter flea and tick preventative. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/sergeants.html Please share and get the word out. You may be saving a life. [Update] Excellent news! I was contacted by family and it is reported that both cats are doing well. They are sleepy but are eating and drinking. The kitten was even playing a little today. [Update #2] The cats are back to normal. [Note from me.] Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for sharing and getting the word out. I have a few things to mention because after the first week of having this posted I've been getting multiple messages to my personal messenger. 1. The cats are NOT mine. 2. CBD oil is not helpful in the event of poisoning! These cats are not epileptic. CBD oil might help in certain chronic (no pun intended) situations but not here. 3. The cats are doing well. I posted an update the day after they were seen about them being fine but I'm still getting a lot of messages asking if they are okay. A big thank you to viewers that have helped others by pointing out that the cats are better now. 4. With how much this has been shared and how many comments that are going through, I cannot keep up with all of them. If there's spam, report it. Please don't message me to get rid of it. I work two jobs and it is difficult trying to police the comments here. Thank you for sharing and helping make known the dangers of cheap flea control. You are all the real MVP.
