Tip: If you have small children who may not be able to sit still for hours and listen to a quiet funeral, you may want to consider leaving them at home with a nanny/babysitter or to only bring them to the very beginning/end of a service.

There is no law mandating that funerals happen at a church or funeral home. They can also take place at the person's home. #Fact
