The love for LCCS runs deep in Lancaster County, and this couple is no exception. Meet Ragen Horst (LCS Class of 2004) and Ally (Hess) Horst (LCS Class of 20...03). Their love story began during the Barn Blast committee meetings at LCS. Their first date was to the Jr/Sr Banquet. They got married in 2007. They have 1 daughter, and 1 more on the way (due in July). Ragen works at E.K. Bare & Sons, and Ally was a 2nd grade teacher at LCCS until recently transitioning to be a stay at home mom to Miriam. Love is in the air! LCCS has a rich heritage in Lancaster County. This week we will highlight a few alumni couples who met during school & are now married. #...alumnilove Meet Mr. & Mrs. Plank. Steve Plank (LCS class of 2000) and Jen (Himes) Plank (LCS class of 2002). They started dating in high school and got married in 2004. They live in Lampeter and have 3 kids (all 3 kids currently attend LCCS). One of Jen’s favorite memories was going to Steve's basketball games and cheering him on in high school. #lccstogether #lccsalumni #lccslove
Meet Mrs. Kim Spangenburg, 1st Grade University Model Teacher. *She started teaching third grade at Lancaster Christian School in 1981. *She met her husband ...Gary on a blind date. Gary was the mayor of the borough, so she was the "first lady of East Petersburg" for twelve years. Her twin sons married sisters. She loves being "Grandma"! *She played violin through high school. She coached field hockey and softball at LCS. *Bonus fun fact: She has a season pass to the Fulton Opera House. "I like teaching at LCCS because we are a family working together to educate children for the glory of God." #lccstogether #meetmemonday
