The Lancaster Archery Academy is hosting a seminar with 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist Jay Barrs and world-class coach Dick Tone on May 22-23. This is an intermediate-advanced level Olympic Recurve seminar for competitive archers looking to step up their game. Congratulations to some familiar faces who won their divisions at the 2020 MICA Indoor Continental Mail-In! Casey Kaufhold took home the Gold for Senior Recurve Women and Alyssa Artz won the Cadet Recurve Women Gold medal. Carson Sysko also took third in the Junior Barebow Men's Division.

After reading the epic novel Rolf and the Viking Bow as part of their Middle Ages and Norse culture studies class, students from Veritas Academy stopped by the academy for a field trip. ICYMI: Lancaster JOAD had an incredible weekend in South Dakota last weekend at USA Archery Indoor National Finals and NFAA Indoor Nationals! Casey Kaufhold and Alyssa Artz made it to the GOLD MEDAL MATCH Casey took home the gold and Alyssa took home the silver. What a cool moment to see two local kids on one of archery's biggest stages. Well done ladies! Haly Grine also finished 5th in the Professional Female Freestyle class at NFAA Indoor Nationals, another young talent from our academy.

If you haven't heard, the academy is starting to reopen! Please read our new reopening schedule carefully as some classes have been modified. Social distancing will be in effect and face masks will be required when not on the lines. June 30: Discovery Archery Classes and Range Times July 13: 6-week courses July 18: Discover Archery Birthday Parties... Private lessons are currently being booked based upon instructor availability. Archery Tag Parties will not be held at this time.
