Lancaster County Soapworks, Etc.

Well, our county is in the "green", but we've had lots of time on our hands here. So we've been experimenting (playing sounds like too much fun) with something new. Eco-printing is so interesting and produces some mighty pretty silk scarves. We have them - retail only - on the website. These are some of our latest and not up on the site yet. While respecting the red classification of our county, we are maintaining our stock and will be ready for our wholesale customers when they reopen and need us again. Meanwhile, all our products are available on our website including some new things (only available to retail customers) that we have had the time to experiment with while we have been home. Making a batch of our Rosemilk soap. We mixed the lye and water last night and then added 8 ounces of rose water. Didn't mix it together til before adding it to the soap this morning, but it stayed separated all night. The cream in the soap is so thick and rich, we add it in with the fats!
