We often survey boundaries for clients that are looking to have their timber harvested. Each forester has very different marking codes that indicate their harvest plan.

We recently did a property line dispute survey where the land owner requested additional witness stakes at each corner. Another surveyor did the survey next door and all of their property corners were recovered. Because the other surveyor’s property corners all checked well with our survey we had no need to set any new property corners. Our client insisted on having t-posts and 1 1/2 inch rebar witness stakes put next to all of his corners, ensuring they won’t be tampered with. We do not offer this size rebar routinely...this was an exception

We recently performed a topographic survey (topo for short) of this home! A topographic survey locates surface features of a property, outlining all natural features and elevations. Specifically, it shows their location, size, height and any changes in elevation. To perform this kind of survey we use our Spectra Precision Robot, you can see it in the bottom left corner.

We have really enjoyed giving back to our communities this year. It is great to see everyone back to living life! This sign will be displayed at a golf tournament in Andrew’s home town this weekend!

Here’s another large boundary survey that we did in Bradford earlier this spring. We came across this large water tank feeding the town, a newt under the stones at the property corner, the busted ladder stand that blew down in a windstorm, the hidden pipe next to an ATV trail (which we found without a metal detector) and the only property corner we have found with cinder blocks stacked around it! Lots to look at in these woods!

Friends, we have been busy!! So let’s catch up!! This was a boundary survey we did on a beautiful day in early spring, no leaves is wonderful for our equipment, better visibility!! Our clients parcel shares a boundary with a large commercial land tract owner. In the first picture you can see the large tracts’ property corner and witness tree with labeled plaque. Our clients parcel had great views of the valley!!
