This month, Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County kicked off their first Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) training, an evidence-based intimate partner hom...icide prevention model. LAP trains officers to connect victims of domestic violence to local agencies through a well-researched screening process that helps police to identify victims who may be at high-risk of homicide. This training also strengthens DAP’s partnership with police departments, who are often the first contact victims have when seeking help and important collaborators in our mission. There were 20 officers who attended our training from ten different Delaware County police departments. We would like to thank these law enforcement professionals from the following police departments who attended this training: Haverford Township Police Department, City Of Chester Police Department, Brookhaven Police - PA, Radnor Township Police Department, Bethel Police Department, Nether Providence Police, Lansdowne Police Department, Aston Township Police Department, Prospect Park Police Department and Marcus Hook PD Borough of Marcus Hook. We would also like to extend our appreciation and thanks to Sergeant Mark of the Upper Chichester Township Police Department for all his support and collaboration through this process, Superintendent Flanagan and the Radnor Township Police Department for hosting this training. If you are interested in finding out more about LAP trainings, please contact Jordan Kelso, manager of advocacy services, at [email protected] or call 610-565-6272.

The Lansdowne Police are looking to partner with the community and keep our area safe. Many times, when a crime occurs, Officers have to canvass the area to ...locate surveillance cameras. We have created a means to streamline this process and it is 100% voluntary. The Security Camera Registration program is a local database of residents/businesses who wish to register surveillance cameras with the Police Department. The information is only accessible to Lansdowne Police Department personnel. This voluntary camera registration program will not have access to any cameras or systems but will only document their locations and the contact information provided by the owner. Registration can be completed but clicking here https://www.lansdowneborough.com//Voluntary-Security-Camer or going to www.lansdownepolice.com Lansdowne Police Department Lansdowne Borough, PA
