This week in celebrating volunteers, we hosted a Volunteer Expo and celebrated our 2020 Registered Volunteers by hosting a "Thank you for BEE-ing a Volunteer!" Brunch yesterday. To all of our volunteers: The various stages of life and the incredible responsibilities of the worker bee prove how essential they are to their coloniesjust as each volunteer, present and past, who has shared his or her time publicly or has done volunteer work privately without us knowing, is essent...ial to our community here. We are happy to celebrate the hard work of our volunteers. Without you, there would be much less diversity, much less activity, routine, and care to our facility grounds, residents, and staff without your time and dedication. Thank you for volunteering for Laurel View Village. We are grateful for each one of you! We would like to give a shout out the staff who helped to organize the brunch, from decorating the room and the tables, to providing the food. Take a look at these cute honeybee cinnamon rolls for our volunteers that were made by one of our Dining Services staff! Beautiful job!

Did YOU get to see the Easter bunny this week? Laurel View did! The Easter bunny was out and about today to say hello to the employees, residents, and visitors. This past week was busy across campus. Our folks celebrated Easter with crafts, egg coloring, and in-person and virtual church services. What a beautiful day it turned out to be. Have a blessed Easter Sunday!
