The Pitt SBDC was selected for the award from more than 1,000 Small Business Development Centers across the nation. For the calendar year ended December 31, 2019, the Pitt SBDC served approximately 700 small businesses across six counties in western PA, completed more than 7,500 hours of one-on-one business consulting, recorded more than $16 million in business capital formation for clients, and created or supported nearly 3,500 regional jobs. Congratulations!

The Washington County Board of Commissioners have established the Washington Cares Small Business and Nonprofit Support Grant Program. Funding will be made avai...lable to small businesses and nonprofits in the County that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis. Please understand that it is anticipated that Round 1 will be a competitive funding round. There is no application fee. Maximum grants given to eligible applicants during round 1 of funding will be $25,000. Grant information, FAQ’s and link to the applications, once open, will be available on this website at cares.washpa.org.
