From a parent currently taking advantage of our online lessons: I just want to say thank you for encouraging and helping my son, Ben, for connecting with Tom for Ben’s drum lessons. It’s working out great, and Ben really looks forward to it. Plus, it gives a little bit of structure to Ben’s week when we’re all at home. Tom is a fantastic teacher. Be well, and again, thank you!

Hey guys ! Miss Sarah here ! I teach piano, voice and art at the school. Today my piano student Elyse sent me this video. I am so thrilled to see students being dedicated and excited about the music they are working on while we are all home! Elyse is way beyond this song in her book, but I love that she feels connected enough to this particular melody to keep coming back to it - and she did a great job !! This past week of online lessons with all of your children was really ...amazing to say the least. I noticed many of my piano students going for more speed on their home instruments and my singers are singing louder in their bedrooms and basements! I love hearing a different side...a comfortable side to my students. It will only help me teach them better going forward. I have one private art student, and it was so fun shifting the focus of his lessons from painting on canvas to exercising his imagination. I let him smell a candle at his house and describe to me what he saw. He said a giant field of white flowers past a mountaintop...with a beautiful sunset in the distance...an orange and blue sky. He also described tall reeds of grass close to his own feet on the mountaintop. I helped him map it out in his sketch book, and he has two weeks to draw it with colored pencils. I think we all wish we could be in a place like that right now ! Enjoy this video and I look forward to my next round of lessons with you all
