Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) understands the important role partnerships play in accomplishing goals. LVHN will host CARE Talks: Celebrating our Healthcare Partnerships, on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cedar Crest hospital location, rooms ECC 6, 7 & 8. Doors will be open at 5...:30 pm. Attendees will experience empowering, engaging, and informative talks by community partners and people in recovery. Presentations will include what local services are available to people facing the challenges of substance abuse disorders, how people can and do recover, and supports designed to help them thrive. The 3rd Rally in the Valley was held May 19th at Arts Quest and was a smashing success with over 3,000 in attendance!

Lehigh Valley Hospital, in partnership with Lehigh County Drug & Alcohol and the Center for Humanistic Change provide instruction during a simulated opioid drug overdose. This program is targeted at students interested or enrolled in a medical field of study. Participants immediately see the positive impact of Motivational Interviewing skills, how to link patients to treatment and decrease stigma. LVHN training tomorrows health care professionals today!!
