Mask Update via our robocall system: Valley Grove Families, This is just a reminder that current Department of Health and Department of Education guidelines st...ate that masks or face coverings are mandatory in Pennsylvania’s schools. Your child will be required to wear a mask or face shield on their first day of school this year. All students in grades K-12 will be required to wear a mask on the bus prior to arriving at school. If they are getting dropped off, they will need one to enter the buildings. Students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade will be provided with one face shield on their first day, which will remain at school to ensure appropriate sanitization. Students in grades 2-12 will be provided with at least one cloth mask at school on their first day. All students are permitted to wear a mask or shield from home. If you need a mask for your child prior to the first day of school, you can pick one up at your child’s school from 1:00 to 3:00 on August 27th and 28th. Mask breaks will be provided throughout the day following PDE guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns with the mask mandate, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].
