The Emmaus Borough did a great job of clearing the snow on Main St. so there are places to park. We have shoveled a path from the street to the shop directly in front, as well as one in the rear, over the length of our backyard to avoid the plow pile. However, it is still slippery! Saturday, 12/19: 10 am to 5 pm Sunday, 12/20: 10 am to 2 pm Tuesday, 12/22: 3 pm to 7 pm ... Wednesday, 12/23: 3 pm to 7 pm Thursday, 12/14: 10 am to 2 pm Plus 15-minute private appointments before/after (see link in comments).

Due to the increase in cases, we have made the decision to revert to the shop being closed to the public for the time being. Although we believe we have been as safe as possible, due to the number of positive cases in our area it seems to make the most sense to discourage any in-store shopping. Our website is available 24/7 to order any titles and then pick-up them on the weekend (or Tuesday afternoons, as well as Thursdays beginning on Thursday 1/21). We expect this model w...ill be in place until we re-open the entire shop, hopefully by Spring. If you would like to pick up a book (or use a gift card) please order on our website or over the phone. However, if you would like to place an order to SHIP, we will be utilizing another platform that we have an affiliate site with, called Bookshop. As you probably expected, we've closed for the day. Our UPS driver made it to us, and we received 7 huge boxes of books - and they are all for you! We expect even if we can make it into the shop tomorrow we will not open for pick-ups, and just process all these orders so we are ready for everyone to come to get their books Friday through Sunday. We've canceled this evening's book club. Enjoy the snow!
