It looks like God is taking me on a [as I am accustomed to saying] "Divine Detour" (see Exodus 13:17-18). After about a week of trouble with vision in my left eye, the optometrist found today that I have a detached retina that requires immediate surgery! So it's off to the hospital first thing tomorrow morning.. which means that I will have to cancel our communion services for tomorrow. I was so looking forward to doing this with y'all "on the night He was betrayed..." We'll see everyone for service this Easter Sunday, d.v. [Deo Volenti lat. God willing], eye patch and all! As always, I covet your prayers!
