Our wonderful patient Cliff has an interesting story that we would like to share: Hearing Loss/Tinnitus/Balance issue/Vertigo... In March of 2018 while returning from a business trip, I suddenly experienced severe pressure in my ear and loss of hearing. Upon arriving home, I was unable to walk to my house due to my inability to maintain my balance. Later that evening, I experienced a significant bout of vertigo which ended up hospitalizing me. Bottom line, I was told that there was no cure and I needed to learn to live with this life changing condition. I felt terrible and was unable to function like I was accustomed. Not ready to give up, I began doing my own research on the condition and how to address it. That is when I came upon Dr. Persky and Upper Cervical Chiropractic. I did more research and said why not. During my first meeting with Dr. Persky I knew that this was different than the past doctor’s visits. First, he cared and listened to me and tried understand what was happening. Then he did his homework on MY condition. I wasn’t just another case on his schedule. After several treatments, I can now say I have experienced significant reduction in tinnitus, ear pressure, and the effect of loud noises. No more balance, dizziness or vertigo issues since I started the treatments with Dr. Persky. No more nagging headaches. Moreover, I have experienced an increase in my sense of smell and taste, and have more energy. I am continuing with Dr. Persky because for the first time in months I feel like I am getting better and his treatment works!
