The second half of the FREE Lincoln Park Connect series kicks off this month! Available right here on Facebook and our YouTube Channel, Lincoln Park Connect is a free series of performances featuring Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School students. Lincoln Park is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of African American artists in the performing arts. Pittsburgh’s own August Wilson wrote a play about the African American experience in each decade of the 20th century. The Holiday Dance Spectacular features students from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School performing numbers in jazz and modern dance styles, with choreography by the LPPACS dance faculty. Concluding with all new staged excerpts from Lincoln Park's annual production of The Nutcracker, this presentation of Lincoln Park Connect blends new and old holiday favorites.
