Shown here is a bird's eye view of the intersection of Rothsville and Lititz Run Roads in Lititz taken about 1949. At the split can be seen the Rome Hotel, which was torn down several years ago. Behind the hotel the Shelly Poultry Farm is seen, which later was the same location of the Chimney Corner Restaurant and Motor Lodge.

In the early 1920s, the Siegler-Hite Garage, which was located at the corner of South Broad and Marion Streets in Lititz, offered a host of services including auto repair, gasoline, and tune ups. While the property would change hands through the years, today, the structure itself still remains very recognizable today.

It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas here at the Lititz Historical Foundation!
