Lechu Neranena Online Kabbalat Shabbat and Havdalah 3/20-3/21/20

Dear Friends of Lechu, Please join us on Friday February 7 through Saturday February 8 for a shabbaton in honor of Tu b'Shevat. Friday night davening will be at 5:00 PM and will be followed by kiddush. Saturday davening will be at 9:15 AM and will be followed by a Tu b'Shevat seder, dairy potluck lunch, and then Mincha. Friday night and Saturday will be at the Levering Mill House, 327 Levering Mill Road in Bala Cynwyd. More details are in last week's email that you can ...see below. We welcome people to sponsor the shabbaton: Your generous sponsorship is welcome at any level and will help defray the cost of renting out the Levering Mill House and supplies for Friday night kiddush and the Tu b'Shevat Seder. Greetings Lechu Community, We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful season of Chagim. As you may recall from an e-mail that was sent prior to chagim, we will be hosting a Lechu community meeting to discuss critical aspects that determine the future of Lechu. We strongly encourage participating from any and all community members to help shape the future of our community.... Here are the details to know about the meeting: When: Monday, November 18 @ 8PM Where: The Keller home at 110 Grasmere Road, Bala Cynwyd Who: Anyone with interest in the future of the Lechu community whether or not you have been a part of Lechu Neranena to date Some topics we will discuss include: -Venue of minyanim - Lower Merion House vs. member homes -Format/model - Continuing monthly Friday night minyanim vs. shifting toward shabbatonim including Shabbat morning and/or afternoon services with scholars in residence or other special programming -Identifying ways that members of our community, in particular, though not exclusively, women, are most interested in actively participating in LN tefillot and programming -Invigorating volunteerism and board leadership - crucial for our minyan to continue -Guiding financial stability of Lechu including decisions about Sefer Torah campaign We look forward to getting together to discuss and shape the future.
