We spy a graduate! Our girl Josie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh yesterday! We first met Josie as a sweet 10-year-old and got to know her while creating her LOA smile. Josie returned a few years later for a brief internship at LOA and we were thrilled when she agreed to officially join our team for the summer and weekends while in school. We are so proud of Josie's work ethic and her ability to balance her school and work life, and we're so excited that she will be joining us full time for the next few months until her next education endeavor begins! This is only the beginning for this shining star.

IMPORTANT UPDATE Due to rising COVID cases, LOA wants to ensure the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff in the most proactive ways possible. All staff members interacting with patients - even if they are not working in their mouths - will now be wearing face shields, in addition to the n95 masks.... We also kindly ask that ONLY the patient enters the building for their appointment to limit the amount of traffic in the treatment bay. A tech will walk your child out after their appointment and brief you on what we did during their appointment. Early treatment can be a lifesaver! It's common for people to wait until all the baby teeth fall out before bringing their child in for an orthodontic examination. Fortunately, this mom brought her son in sooner so we could take a radiograph and see some interesting things beneath the surface. Two adult teeth are missing and another two are transposed and impacted, meaning they are flipped and stuck up in the jaw bone. Great job mom, and don't worry folks, we've got this!

Now THIS is a remarkable LOA journey! In between her Invisalign checks, Catharine has been traveling across the country with her husband in their RV! LOA had the privilege of providing treatment for this traveling gal and hearing all about her adventures when she made time to stop into Lancaster for her appointments. Listening to her travel stories always makes us want to see the world more! She's now graduated and free to roam wherever she pleases, but we hope she'll check in every once in a while.

This cutie came to her appointment with custom made rainbow loom bracelets which she personalized with LOA colors and a smiley! We have the best patients

It was bittersweet to see Vickie's radiant smile today greeting families at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic after 39 years of doing so at LOA. We are so happy that those families get to share Vickie and all of her wonderfulness. For over 80 years, LCPC and LOA Orthodontics have enjoyed a partnership in the mission to provide the very best clinical care and support for families with children with facial differences. Today, that partnership continues through the doctors and team members from LOA that help to provide orthodontic care at LCPC. Vickie, our most loyal LOA team member, you will be sorely missed, but we are thrilled that you have decided to join the LCPC team! Thank you for all that you have done in your nearly 4 decades at LOA.
