We don’t typically endorse Presidential candidates, but if the Pittsburgh Post Gazette is bold enough to brave this new era of identity politics and endorse President Trump publicly - primarily because of the impact he will have in fostering the oil and gas industry locally instead of campaigning on a mandate to make it extinct - then so will we. President Donald Trump for four more years! The people of Appalachia in the oil and gas industry need you as an advocate. So do ...those still working in the coal and electric generation industries. We don’t need a repeat of what the Obama administration did to the coal and electric generation industries repeating and including natural gas as a new target. Also .... we don’t think anyone is a bad person for voting for the candidate of their choice. Everyone should vote for the candidate who has a platform that most closely aligns to their own. We find it impossible though to vote for any candidate who literally wants to put us out of business so we have only one choice no matter how else the man or his agenda are portrayed.
