The officers and members would like to congratulate Fire Chief Brandon Fuller and Wife Bailey on the birth of their beautiful baby boy Mack James Fuller. Mom and future Fire Chief are both happy and healthy!

Just after 6pm the assignment was dispatched to the 100 block of Fronefield Ave for a house fire. Chief 39 arrived to report a single story middle of the row with no conditions. Engine 39 (Cptn Farraday) arrived, laying a supply line and stretching an attack line while Truck 17 (Aston Township) assumed the first arriving special service. Crews began to enter and smoke became visible from the exterior. Engine 10 (Upper Chi) arrived securing E39s water and stretched a back up line. The fire was contained to the oven in the kitchen, no injuries were reported and crews were clear within 30 minutes. Chief 39 (Fuller) had the Fronefield Command Claymont, Crozer EMS also on scene.

This morning the company attended services for Past Chief Bob Gilbert. He was led off to his final resting place aboard Engine 39 and surrounded by family. Thank you to our mutual aid partners for their assistance and area fire police for ensuring safety during the event.
