Our 15th Annual Troop Support Program was another huge success. Thanks to so, so many of your donations! An added thanks to St. Ann's Emmaus who adopted our Troop Support Program as this year’s school project! This year, 8 soldiers will receive your donations; 5 are stateside and 3 are overseas. The stateside soldiers will each receive 2 boxes and those stationed overseas are receiving 41 boxes each to share with their troop. We have one stationed in Saudi Arabia, one in Jap...an and one in Iraq. Thanks to all East Penn families who submitted their loved ones name to receive these donations. Even though they cannot be with family this holiday season, we hope that these goodies let them know that they are never forgotten. Last but definitely not least, thank you to our awesome Staff who facilitate the program, organize and box the donations, and then addressed and transported 133 boxes to the post office. This program is a huge success because of ALL of you! THANK YOU!

The Board of Commissioners will hold monthly workshop meetings on the 4th Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Township Building, 3400 Brookside Road, Macungie. This workshop will be in place of their five Committee meetings. However, the Committee structure is not abolished; should a Committee have a topic that needs a great deal of discussion, the Committee will convene on it’s advertised date. As with all public meetings, the workshop agenda is posted on the Township’s we...bsite before the scheduled meeting. This change not only streamlines business topics, it provides for further transparency since the workshops are both live on RCN Channel 66 and recorded and posted to our website and YouTube channel; where the Committee meetings were not. Should you have any questions regarding the new workshop meetings, please do not hesitate to contact Renea Flexer, Township Secretary, at 610-966-4343 x113. See more
