"Remember: the period of waiting is our opportunity to grow. Even as we wait, God sees and plans great things for us, far more than we could ever ask or imagine." Pastor Chris *Our prayer: Gracious God, there is so much waiting in life. We wait in lines; we wait for others; we wait for financial or family security. We wait for a doctor’s report; we wait for love, or we wait for certain pain to go away. Sometimes the waiting takes away our joy and fills us with frustration. Give us the grace to refrain from rushing ahead in order to bring waiting to an end. Instead, let us find joy in the waiting itself. In the name of Jesus the Christ we pray. Amen.* #Oct11 #GodsTiming

Good morning -- Today is Pastor Appreciation Sunday! Pastor Chris has been working tirelessly to produce our virtual church services. He has contacted and encouraged many of our former pastors to provide a sermon for our Sunday services. Many of you have contributed to our services because of his initiating your involvement. In your own way, take a few minutes to say Thanks to Pastor Chris for being our Pastor. Jim Gehman, Lay Leader

Your reminder for today! (And everyday) One of them, a legal expert, tested him. Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law? He replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You must love your neighbor as you love yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.... Matthew 22:35-40 Common English Bible
