Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club

LPRGC Members- LPRGC is participating in the 25th Annual Lt. Patty Simons Law Enforcement Food Drive. This effort is supported by more than a dozen local LE organizations and even more area businesses and service groups. Each year, the drive collects more than 15 tons of food which gets distributed to 8 food programs in Montgomery County. Two of these programs are in Lower Providence. A collection box is currently set up in the clubhouse and we're encouraging our members to d...onate non-perishable food items. The box will be onsite through December 15th. The Egypt Rd entrance is blocked by a downed tree. Club is still accessible via Pinetown but there are numerous trees down on the property. Use caution.

Attention Members, We are pleased to announce that the club will reopen to members ONLY starting at 5PM on Wednesday May 6 for Outdoor ranges only. Until further notice, the facilities will be open only to adult club members. Minors and Guests will not be permitted during the initial reopening phase. Membership cards must be displayed visibly by all members while on club property. Additional Announcements:... The May General Membership Meeting has been canceled. Past Presidents' Night will not be held in June, and will be rescheduled for later in the year. All matches and classes are canceled until further notice. There is no access to the clubhouse, occupied structures, the indoor ranges or the Gazebo. Reopening Guidelines Members must follow the guidance from the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health for COVID-19, and the LPRGC Board as follows: Members that are sick with COVID-19, were recently exposed (within 14 days) to someone with COVID-19, exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who just don’t feel well are not permitted to use the facilities. Members are advised that use of the facilities is at your own risk. Membership Badges must be worn and visibly displayed at times. Practice social distancing: Have a plan: Create a safety plan before heading outdoors. Maintain a minimum separation distance of six feet at all times while on the premises. Wearing of face masks or protective garment that covers the nose and mouth is required. Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gloves, etc.) is encouraged, but not required. Only 1 person per time is permitted at any bench (all benches are at least 6 feet apart). Do not congregate on or behind the bays Wait in your vehicle until a bench is available. Practice good hygiene: Use the provided bleach-based spray bottles and materials to spray and wipe down any areas where you plan to sit or touch before and after your use. Bring personal hand sanitizer containing at least 60 percent alcohol. Promptly clean up your area and depart when finished. Dear Members, We wanted to reach out and update all of you on the status of the club. Governor Wolf has extended his "Stay at Home" order, and the club will continue to comply with it by suspending operations and canceling all activities while it is in effect. During this time all of our facilities are closed. The board is aware of the changes in federal guidelines regarding gun stores and ranges, and will continue to review and reassess this information as the situation deve...lops. We have been in contact with legal counsel and are regularly reviewing changes as they are announced. Please know that the Board is acting in the best interest of the membership and the preservation of the club. The board looks forward to the club resuming operations as soon as is legally possible. Attention Club Members, Due to Governor Wolf’s announcement on Monday March 23 regarding his COVID-19 stay at home order for 7 counties including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, access to our facilities is temporarily suspended and all scheduled events are postponed or cancelled for the duration of this order.
