I recorded this beautiful (and famous) piece Salut d'amour, or Liebesgruss, by Edward Elgar yesterday following a piano track played by Professor Josie Merlino ...at Seton Hill University. This is part of a larger project being led by my good friend Adam Liu, Assistant Principal Cello of the Pittsburgh Symphony and Professor of Cello at Duquesne University. A sample of this video will be combined in a melody thread with some of the finest cellists in the world including Hai-Ye Ni (Philadelphia), Brinton Smith (Houston), Hee-Young Lim (South Korea/Beijing), Abner J.
