Watt, Shand, and Thompson wooden box Watt, Shand, and Thompson opened their dry goods store in 1878 at 20 - 22 E King St, Lancaster, Pa. Thompson died in 1879 and left his share of the store to his wife. She then sold it to Watt and Shand. The store eventually moved to 6 E King St and was renamed Watt & Shand in 1885. This box is 5" by 3" by 4" and has an 1879 calendar on the inside of the lid. It has a Watt, Shand, and Thompson label on the bottom. $50.00
