In cooperation with Governor Wolf and Health Secretary Levine’s orders in response to COVID-19: Construction activities may begin MAY 1, 2020 The following procedures are now in effect: Approved Building/Zoning Permit Issuance ONLY Permit submission must be submitted either by using the outside drop-box or US Mail or delivery service... Applicants will be notified by a phone call that a permit is available for pick-up at the township’s office YOU WILL BE CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT PERMITS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE ANY WORK CAN BE STARTED Failure to obtain a permit may subject you (the property owner) to penalties. Permits will be issued only by the following procedure: Permits will only be issued BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and must be picked up in person Appointments will be scheduled Every 20 minutes from 9:00 am thru 3:40 pm You will be escorted into the township building at your appointment time Face coverings MUST be worn at all times in the township building (no exceptions) Only one person will be admitted to the permit counter area at a time There will be no electronic issuance of permits Preferred payment method Credit Card Check Please observe the social distancing guidelines You are advised of the requirements for construction activities established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Please note that suspect violations of these construction guidelines must be reported to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania If you have any questions please contact the township office at 717-764-4646 See more
