MORE TRACK WORK PHOTOS - Workers in the background are working on the new Amtrak Middletown Station. RESTORATION OF RIO DE JANEIRO OPEN CAR 1719 - Restoration of Car 1719 began this summer. This car was acquired in 1963 by Wendell Dillinger as part of a purchase of 12 cars by various museums.

What is happening at the M&H Railroad? Due to Covid19, passenger trains are not operating. Did the M&H hibernate for the year? Definitely NOT! Not running passenger trains gives us more time to maintain equipment and track. Keep following us on Facebook to learn what we are doing. TRACK - This year our track crew has replaced approximately 300 ties so far. Plans call for replacing at least 200 more ties.
