Move to Hybrid: Things to Know #9 Plan D, Opt-out 1. The Re-opening of Schools Plan is designed to give parents the flexibility in choosing whether or not their child should participate in in-person school. 2. Plan D, Opt-out Options are still open and will remain open for the foreseeable future. 3. Plan D, Opt-out has two options:... Opt-out to the NSD Virtual Academy This is a true Cyber School Experience. Course offerings are customizable. This is a fully asynchronous program. Students may return to other options/models though their previous schedule cannot be guaranteed. Entering and exiting the program will take a few days. To Enter or Exit this option, contact Paul Mahoney at [email protected] 215-809-6549 Opt-out to Plan D1.1, Neshaminy Live-streaming Neshaminy Teachers and Curriculum Monday Thursday: Live-streaming of student’s existing classes/schedule Friday: Whole Class Zoom from home Grades K 4 Asynchronous Canvas Modules will be available to support the Live-streaming Transitioning into or out of this option is easy and quick. Both Plan D, Opt-out Options come with the full complement of Neshaminy student services, co-curriculum programs and social activities.
