In the last few weeks at our center "The Road Home" for battered women and their children... We now have 5 moms and 18 kids... At Easter we were able to have a pastor to preform a service and a blessing...... Did you know that the center building used to be a bakery? Our moms have learned to use the equipment to make bread for the children! Always looking for support and prayers...Thank you...Marina James, President, Marina's Kids.

Every woman that comes to our center has a hard and tragic life. Our new addition, Katerina (20) has ten-moth old son. The house in the village that was given to them in uninhabitable to live with a baby. The government threatened to take her baby to the orphanage because of the living conditions. Now she is here. We are housing and mentoring Katerina. At the same time helping her figure out how to have her housed fixed so she can go back home, and not loose her son. The two of them are in a warm, loving, and safe place, our center, The road Home!

We have a new mom in our center for battered women. Ira with four younger of her seven kids (older ones went to live with their Grandma) needs a new start. Thank you everyone who is willing to donate funds to give Moms, like Ira, and her children such an opportunity.

Every spring the grounds of our center need to be cleaned up from the debris that winter storms have scattered about. As it is now getting warmer our social center residents and staff have been working hard. Fallen branches will be used for heating and the grounds are now ready for the children to enjoy.

We had request from one of the orphanage’s staff we work with to help a a child with medication. Katya is suffering from *psoriasis and the government does not provide medicine for that, even for an orphan. This sweet child is extremely grateful for to everyone who sponsors or medical fund. Thank you. *Psoriasis is a skin disorder that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. This makes the skin build up into bumpy red patches covered with white scales. It is partly caused the immune system mistakenly attacking healthy skin cells.
