Went to check out my wildlife pear tree today. Cant wait till my grafted ones in the field get more mature. Grown from seed are still 3 times bigger than caller...y or bradford pears. This is a great mid to late season tree. Everytime I shook the tree as i picked fruit for seeds some fell. And they taste fairly good! That's a quarter for comparison. See more
Doing a tree job yesterday, found this beauty. An oriental persimmon which i am going to add to my (Trees for Wildlife) inventory.I am pretty sure it is a late dropper. Hopefully i will have it Fall of 2022. It will be grafted to american rootstock. Excellent for eating as well!
