It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Coach Bill Fox. Coach Fox was a longtime faculty member and served as our Head Basketball Coach for almost 30 seasons (read a career tribute by Ted Silary here: http://www.tedsilary.com/billfox.htm). Over the course of his illustrious teaching and coaching career at Father Judge, he led by example and was the epitome of a Salesian Gentlemen. Countless Judge Guys benefited from his guidance and mentorship - in the classroom and on the court. Please join us in prayer for Coach Fox's family and especially his wife Maryellen Fox and children Brendan Fox '97, Brian Fox '99, Bridget Gossner and Maura Crisanti. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

The Markward Club would like to extend their condolences to the family and friends of Joe Kiernan, a longtime member and supporter of the club. May he Rest In Peace. Joe's service and life celebration are this Saturday, July 10th, and our family would like the followers of the Markward Club to be aware of his passing and have the information to pay their respects should they wish. Joe dedicated so much of his energy towards all causes surrounding Coach Markward and the Clu...b, including the publishing of two books, being one of the forces behind getting him into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame, and the significant & continued efforts by Joe, RCHS and Saint Joseph's University to appeal to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for consideration. We, and the Club were lucky to have had a man so passionate about Coach Markward and the ongoing efforts of the Markward Club. Here is the link to the obituary. Services begin at 10 AM at St. Bede the Venerable in Newtown, PA. We hope to see you there. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/inquirer/obituary.aspx
