Example: if it takes 10 minutes of cantering on the left lead to get your horse to really give y...ou their neck, you would be much wiser to walk for awhile, and then do two more successful circles left and call it a day, than to change directions and start all over on a tired horse and likely get no where! Next ride I’ll ask again left, and likely get it quickly, and then try to the right with a fresh horse who knows what I want. This will make a horse a lot more even than accidentally creating an issue by drilling a tired horse.

This handsome little colt finally made his appearance. He belongs to a friend and previous boarder of ours Phoebe Watson. His dam is a Morgan named Crimson, and his sire is our Friesian Willem SF. We can’t wait to meet this guy!
