"The Salaat has a great light which illuminates the hearts of those who make the Salaat. No one will attain it except those are aware and humble in the prayer (al-khaashi’n). So when you come to make the Salaat empty your heart of the worldly things (ad-duny) and all that in contains. And preoccupy yourself with awareness of your Lord the one for Whose Sake you are praying. Keep bdt). Do not allow the Shaytn to play with your heart and distract you from your Salaat to ...the extent that your heart becomes blind and you are deprived from experiencing the pleasure of the lights (anwr) of the Salaat. Therefore it is obligatory upon you to be constantly mindful in it; because it (the Salaat) protects from all shameful and evil deeds by means of having al-khush’ (humility, focus and concentration) in it.
