We have been fortunate to have an increased amount of media coverage with the reopening and the "Embodying Masonic Values" exhibition - including a story on CBS Philly (https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com//masonic-library-and-mu/). This is reminiscent of another time in our history when we received a lot of media attention: the cornerstone laying (pictured here) and dedication weekend. Front-page articles about the events were published in "The Public Ledger" and "The Press," two local papers printed at the time. National magazines and papers in other cities also picked up the stories.

A week from today, join museum associate Brother Lee Martin, PM, Melita Lodge No. 295, for the inaugural Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania Speaker Series lecture, Windows to the Past: 1873 Photography of the New Masonic Temple," Oct. 24, 3:30 4:30 p.m. This presentation will highlight the work of Pennsylvania Freemason Brother Frederick Gutekunst, the noted Civil War photographer and Dean of American Photographers, commissioned by the Grand Lodge to photograph the newly opened Masonic Temple.
