Spring 2021 Announcement! We are very honored to announce that our daughter, Dr. Ashley May Maust, is the new owner of May’s Country Kennels! She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Chemistry in 2017 before moving to Illinois to pursue her career as a veterinarian. She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and will be the newest veterinarian in the area! In addi...tion to her advanced care at the kennel, she will also be taking new appointments at Animal Medical Center of Somerset County starting June 1st! We are very excited to have her expertise in continuing to provide the best care for our boarders. Mark and I will still be around, as we have moved only 2 miles up the road from the kennel. Ashley and her husband, Shane, as well as their 4 dogs, will be living on site at the kennel. We will continue to be involved at the kennel and look forward to seeing all of our awesome boarders! Meet Storm! He is a 1 year old neutered Bluetick Coonhound who is in need of a forever home. He is UTD on vaccines and gets along with other dogs and children! Meet Louie! He is a 6 year old neutered Chiweenie who is in need of a forever home. Unfortunately, his previous owner passed away and he is now up for adoption. He is currently up to date on vaccines and just had a check up at Animal Medical Center. He would be best in a house with no children or other dogs, but does well with cats. Serious Inquires only and references will be needed! Please share so we can get this handsome guy a new home!
