These new challenges have changed the way we live, but our dedication to helping those in need is as strong as it was when we first opened our doors more than 100 years ago. To our Friends in the Community This week, the Media Lions Club held its annual disbursement meeting (remotely, via Zoom). This is when we decide how to distribute all the funds we have raised over the past Lions’ year. On this page, you can see the list of charities and services to which we have donated on your behalf. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we are all going through, our Club had to cancel several of our fundraising events this Spring. As a result, we had les...s than half our usual amount to disburse. This meant reducing donations to many entities, and eliminating donations to some others all together. We would like to appeal to you, our many friends and supporters in the community, to help us bolster these donations back toward our normal levels, so that many great charities and services can continue their work. If you would have bought hot dogs and sodas for your family from our both on State St., bought tickets to our annual Beef & Blues event, or pitched in a donation at our Easter Egg Hunt or our White Cane campaign, then we would kindly ask that you consider sending the Media Lions Club a donation to PO Box 1932, Media PA 19063.
