We have current openings for Mechanical Assemblers to independently complete advanced assembly processes for trailers and other products following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties. Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products Plan assembly procedures, followin...g specifications and using advanced layout skills. Modify parts as needed to complete assembly. Align components and bolts, screws, or rivets them together. Install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement. Attach and connect all breakers, relays, traffic lights, battery chargers and batteries, and solar panels as specified. Troubleshoot 12 and 24 volt electrical systems. Attach, connect and adjust all hydraulic systems as specified. Inspect finished product to ensure conformance to engineering or work order specifications and tests or assists in testing operation of completed product. Assist and provide input to engineering on R&D projects as needed. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualification requirements High School Diploma or GED 2-3 years mechanical assembly experience Basic reading skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Insures inventory processes and procedures are followed and completed per MGS guidelines. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or with p...ower hoist. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Inspects material to confirm to material ordered and for quality. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Assembles skids or crates as necessary. Performs daily safety inspection of forklift and completes related equipment checklist. Safely operates forklift, tractors or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Follows safety guidelines and uses all required personal protective equipment. This position should possess the following skills/knowledge: Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong organization skills Dependability and self-motivation Ability to work as a member of a team Written and verbal skills Energetic Basic mathematical and computer skills High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: The employee will lift and move heavy items, which will require the ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds The employee will be moving around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours Facilities can be hot or cold at times, so the employee must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in varied temperatures The employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods The Position requires full range of body motion on a daily basis including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles We offer: competitive wages medical, dental and vision insurance life insurance 401(k) plan with Company match paid holidays, vacations and additional company benefits. Employee, Andy Terry, came in with some festive attire today in preparation for the Independence Day holiday tomorrow.

The MGS Wellness Committee hosted its annual Wellness Fair yesterday and it was a huge success! The employees completed a free Health Risk Assessment, followed by a presentation on 2B Tick Aware, met the wellness vendors, and were treated to an awesome healthy breakfast prepared by our Wellness Committee. We thank all our vendors who attended and the committee members for making it all come together. Today at MGS, we have some special guests visiting us. The Guidelines Committee for the NATM (National Association of Trailer Manufacturers) is here. They are reviewing the guidelines and will recommend updates. Our Engineer, Paul Feight is the chair of this committee and is leading the meeting today.
