This past Saturday, Mid Atlantic Retina participated in the 9th Annual Bookin’ for Lookin’ 5k run in Newtown, PA benefiting the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Guiding Eyes for the Blind. As a long time sponsor, several employees came together to run for a great cause. The event raised approx. $10,000, which will benefit both organizations.

Mid Atlantic Retina participated in the 14th Annual Foundation Fighting Blindness - Philadelphia VisionWalk, and this year the walk was virtual! This was our 7th year as a sponsor, with Dr. Michael Klufas as medical chair. Doctors and staff, along with their friends and family took the time this past weekend to walk and run for a great cause. I don’t know where I should begin on how satisfied I was with my first visit. From the time I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a hello.
