I just wanted to reach out to our friends and let them know that registration will be open in a few weeks. We are hoping that we are good to go for the Fall before we take payments for registration. We are considering having the registration all done on a wait-list, which means you would not pay until we are ready to go on the field.

Dear Families, Midd-West AYSO has regretfully made the choice to cancel our spring 2020 season. This was not a quick or easy decision to make.... AYSO National had previously suspended all programs until at least May 15, 2020. It is very unlikely that AYSO or any other youth sports program will be able to proceed as planned as of that date even under the most optimistic projections. Playing with other regions is also extremely unlikely given the current Pennsylvania school closure orders and the number of AYSO regions that rely on school fields in our area. Midd-West AYSO places the highest importance on the health and welfare of our players and volunteers, but in the light of the current COVID-19 pandemic we cannot reasonably ensure either. Please know that Midd-West AYSO is hoping that we will be able to offer an in-house summer program for all of our currently registered players. We do not yet know if or when we will have a summer program or what it will look like exactly, but the 2019/20 membership year does not end until August. We will keep all of our families and volunteers updated as things develop. Please continue to take care of yourselves and each other.

AYSO is not cancelling the soccer season. It is postponed. We may play a summer season instead of a Spring season, but we are planning on playing
