Mifflin YMCA 14.07.2021

ATTENTION MEMBERS In response to Governor Wolf's lift of COVID-19 restrictions as of 5/31/21, we have made several changes to our policies. As of June 1, 2021, all YMCA of Reading and Berks County branches will no longer conduct health and temperature checks for members. We will continue to conduct health and temperature checks for employees.... Capacity limits will be lifted for all facilities, however capacities and restrictions may still be implemented for programmatic offerings, such as youth sports, as needed. Any restrictions will be clearly communicated to participants at the time of registration. In addition to these overarching policy changes, we have a few updates which are specific to our Mifflin Area YMCA taking effect on 6/1/21. They are as follows: Adventure Center will be open for use, however Child Watch will not be offered at this time. Locker rooms and showers will be open for use. In order to keep all members, participants, and community members healthy and safe, we ask that you please stay home if you are sick and continue to wear a mask in our facilities if you are not yet fully vaccinated. We thank you for your cooperation and hope to see you at the Y soon! For our full statement and all location-specific updates, please click here: https://conta.cc/3fRadM9

As per Governor Wolf’s order, all YMCA of Reading and Berks County branches will be closed as of Saturday, December 12, 2020 for all indoor fitness, pool, and program use. We will remain closed until Monday, January 4, 2021 or until the Governor's order has been lifted. This closure does not include our child care facilities, which will continue to operate as normal. At this time, all member accounts will be frozen and bank draft payments will not be processed on December 21.... If you have any specific questions about your Y membership, please contact Alyssa Bushkie at [email protected] or 610-378-4710. Participants in programs such as youth sports, clinics, and personal training will receive a communication from their branch regarding potential rescheduled dates, accommodations, or refunds. We will release any updates on our reopening via email, Facebook, and our website, bit.ly/YMCACOVID. If you have additional questions or need assistance, please contact your branch directly. If you are interested in making a donation to the programs we are still running during our closure, including childcare, transitional housing and recovery services, and Youth Educational Support for virtual learners, please visit bit.ly/SupportYourY. We want to sincerely thank you for continuing to support our Y during these tumultuous, uncertain, and difficult times. During the time of our closure, we ask you to continue to empower and support one another and stay strong in mind, body, and spirit. We hope to see you all in 2021!
