It’s always a treat to see a minister at a loss for words. This is something a member said on the way our of church today. Today, there was a surprise celebration of this guy’s one-year anniversary as the pastor of Millcreek Lutheran Church including flowers, a chocolate-peanut-butter cake (clearly *not* from a factory bakery), and the Hallelujah Chorus.

Pray for us! We applied for a grant for a summer parking-lot-based idea to meet new people as we emerge from the pandemic. Selection of recipients is random. We would like that to go in our favor!

Interested in the book of Revelation? Dr Rossing has written what Pastor Scott believes is *the absolute best* book on the challenging book at the end of our Bibles. There‘s still time to register!

We received an nice thank-you note. Much thanks and appreciation for allowing the Fort Zeller PTO to use your facility during the 2020 Gingerbread Shop!! Enjoy and Replenish. Tasha [Ness] + the FZ PTO. There was also a basket with liquid soap and sanitizing wipes. The soap will be going into the restrooms and the sanitizing wipes are in the office. You may ask: If the gift basket had soap and wipes, why is there a picture of a fruit basket? Answer: Pastor Scott disassembled the basket without taking a picture! #millcreeklutheran #sanitizingwipes #liquidsoap

We have our first photo of Millcreek Lutheran Church members hanging their ornament on the pandemic edition of our congregational Christmas tree. This is the tree that is normally in our sanctuary, bu is on the porch at the church this year. Bring your ornament along or take an ornament from the box on the porch. Either way, be sure to take a photo and either share it in the comments on Facebook or email a copy to Pastor Scott ([email protected]).

Pastor Scott loves to learn and loves to teach. It helps fulfill his purpose of being enlightened and helping to enlighten others. He is part of the planning team for this event. The keynote is about the biblical book of Revelation and there are many workshops available. The cost is $25 for the day. (Scholarships are available.)
