PLEASE DONATE TO HELP KEEP THE MOUNT PLEASANT NATIVITY UP AND RUNNING! Ever since I was a child, I have loved the nativity on the Diamond in Mt. Pleasant, esp...ecially PA, as Christmas draws near and the days get colder. I especially remember the music and the live animals. Maybe you, too, have similar fond memories, even if you no longer live in the Mount Pleasant area. No matter how you look at it, we are SO FORTUNATE to have such a powerful symbol of the Christian faith and its source, Christ, in the public square. Today, I stopped to tell Mr. Kujawa (who has helped erect, take down, and maintain the display for several decades) and his son Adam (a constable an EMT) how much I appreciate what they do to keep this tradition alive. Mr. Kujawa said that it is becoming more difficult and more costly to keep up with the maintenance . . . and there are fewer people to help out. When I told him I would like to contribute to the nativity scene and also volunteer to help set up and take down the structure, he was so happy. I told him I would put out a request for donations on my FB page. I am asking (actually imploring) anyone who has enjoyed the nativity scene to make a donation to the maintenance fund. In order to do so, you may fill out your check to the MOUNT PLEASANT NATIVITY SCENE and send it to RICHARD KUJAWA 320 COLLEGE AVENUE MOUNT PLEASANT, PA 15666 Let's pull together and show the world how important Christ's birth, as represented in this public nativity, is to us. Thanks! JT
