The East Penns Valley library is holding their garden starter sale at Burkholders today from 9:00 until 1:00. Stop over and stock up. When you're done there stop back over here and get all the tools you need to dig the garden. We support the East Penns Valley Library, you should too.

Today is Derby Day. Monday thru Saturday is Small Engine Day. They are great days to race on over to Millheim. Like that great horse Secretariat, we are unbeatable. Happy Derby Day everyone. MSE: It takes a Small Engine to run a Big Valley.

When snow comes we rush out for the big three...Eggs, Milk and Bread. When Ice Hits.... its Salt, Generators and Chain Saws (for fallen trees) Don't slip by us today. We are open until 1:00. It takes a Small Engine to thaw and Big Valley.

It has been a long hard year for sure. We are very grateful for all of you that helped us survive...when so many have not done so well. It is our blessing to be able to help whenever and however we can. With that said let's go out as a Winner. The winner of the 2020 Holiday Survival Box is Pep Billett of Milesburg. Merry Christmas. Last summer we had a sailboat sailing on the cornfield... For Christmas we have a brand new airplane and our brand new airplane hangar. You just never know it's small engine you'll have to stop in to see it for your own eyes. It takes a Small Engine to have fun in a Big Valley. Sawday Sunday: Here in our valley they say one of something is none of something... I'm glad I was told that. When the chain went on my 20-in 455... Back in the middle of nowhere... had to go with the lighter duty 440. This big ole ash was no problem for this great affordable light duty backup. It's a perfect Christmas gift for those that just have one of something. Hint hint. :)

Sunday Saw Day: so the Husqvarna and Stihl weren't your cup of tea? Maybe this saw is Wright for you. Don't see many of these reciprocating saws around anymore... But they sure did some sawing in the day. It's a beast. We wonder how many likes this puppy will get.
