As of right due to the Governors ban on non life-sustaining businesses we will be closed for at least another two weeks. It has been a long two weeks and to think of being closed for another two weeks is terrifying. We know it is for the best to prevent the spread and keep our children and families healthy but, that doesn't make it sting any less. The entire staff here at Miss Jess's is ready to get back to work and have a center full of happy and healthy rowdy children. It is with a heavy heart that I have to make this post tonight. But, due to Covid-19 and in efforts to mitigate the spread of the virus with Governor Wolf's shutdown as of tonight at midnight Miss Jess Miles Of Smiles will be closed for a period of 14 days. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause your families. We will be taking this time to do an even further deep clean to be prepared for your children as soon as the state will allow. You and your children will be missed greatly by the staff and most certainly myself. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. We just wanted to post some announcements and updates with all the talk in the news about COVID-19 and schools shutting down We would like to remind everyone of our policies: 1) We will be following the same sick policy and same tuition policy as always. **24-hour symptom free or a doctor note to return if your symptoms are the same as the COVID-19.... ** You will be charged for the agreed upon weekly hours and rates whether your child attends the full time or not. 2) If your family becomes quarantined at home children are not permitted to attend till cleared by a doctor with a note. 3) We do not plan to close unless I am required by the state to close or if we become short-staffed are have no choice but to close. 4) If myself or my staff becomes sick, we will close for the appropriate amount of time. We are doing our normal cleaning routines while also taking extra precautions to keep everything clean and sanitized. We want to keep everyone healthy and happy which is our main priority. During any center wide closures, you will not responsible to pay for tuition. This is only if the entire center is unfortunately closed. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Lastly, we are still accepting donations of bleach and cleaning supplies especially since we are upping our cleaning efforts and as i'm sure you all know the shelves are empty! Good afternoon everyone, The snow has been coming down heavy and consistently since around 12:30 this afternoon. For the safety of my staff, you and your families we will be closing today at 4:. Please ensure that your child/children are picked up by 4:30 for everyone to get home safely! As far as a 2 hour delay for tomorrow it will truly depend on road conditions in the morning but, I will be up and make the call by 5 am.
