Today is Mary Ann Demi Day at MJRSC! Mary Ann is our fearless leader and Executive Director of the entire Care Network. She has a true passion for her community and for maximizing the independence of our area seniors. Mary Ann is committed to providing excellent services and challenges her staff to make sure that all of their work is centered on how to best meet our mission. She encourages our directors and supervisors to think outside of the box and to come up with new and e...xciting ways to serve seniors. Mary Ann is always available with an open door and an open mind to listen to any employee who wants to run something by her. She is a great problem solver, ensuring that everyone stays focused on our goals to grow the agency and better serve the community. Today is RBA Day at MJRSC! While they are not technically employees, we would be remiss if we didn’t recognize our information and technology consultants for all of their hard work over the years. We have been working with RBA since 2018, and with their assistance have undergone many technology changes. They've helped us with updates on software, hardware, a phone system, and our overall computer network and technology infrastructure. Their team is readily available for any s...upport and troubleshooting that we need. The team at RBA has a great ability to think outside of the box and make recommendations that can improve the way we work. Their flexibility and expertise is top notch, making sure that our systems run smoothly with the least amount of interruption to our staff as possible. Today is Kelly Varner Day at MJRSC! Kelly Varner wears many hats and sometimes wears them at the same time! She applies her skills and talents to not just Human Resources as the Director, but she also assists staff with their technology needs and works with the Executive Director to manage buildings and property. Kelly has been with The Care Network for a little over 3.5 years, and has worked collaboratively with all the Directors to manage the human resource needs of employe...es and fill vacant positions. She also serves as the President of Central Keystone Valley HR Professionals and the Treasurer of Pennsylvania State Council of SHRM. Through the difficulties and adjustments of the last year, she has jumped in to assist administrative staff in accomplishing their responsibilities and maintaining front office coverage. It's Substitute Day at MJRSC! We couldn't do all of our community work without the substitutes that we use in our programs. Many of our senior centers have substitutes who are trained to step in when a center manager is out sick or wants to take some well-deserved time off. We also use a substitute in an administrative role at the main office. Our administrative sub helps answer phones and greet visitors when several of our employees are out of the office at the same time. We... have really come to rely on our substitute during the holiday season so that we have adequate office coverage during holiday vacations.
